Work Haiku

A few months ago, the Supreme Court decided a case that is causing us to go into overdrive around here. I was inspired this morning by an old Chinese poem about the futility of striving:

U.S. v. Booker--
ants crawl 'round inside a bowl;
never to escape.

A supervisor just set things straight:

U.S. v. Booker--
ants crawl 'round to get paychecks;
job security.
