We picked up this on our way home from Alexandria the other evening. We need a second car at the moment for a couple of different reasons. We already had decided on a Scion xB and had priced one on the Internet with exactly what we wanted on it. However, the car on the showroom floor kept calling my name, so I bought it.

New Car smell rocks! Having room for the family will be nice. We just upgraded from a Civic to an SUV.
Woo hoo! Nice wheels, my man. When can I go for a ride?
Very nice. We were parked one that looked almost the same as yours this afternoon. Love that color!
The new car smell should last until Toby and Adam dump french fries on the seats and spill coke on the floor. I do need to arrange to take Ann for a ride. Gentle Reader Bill also has an xB--his recommendation definitely influenced our decision.
So, can I get a ride before the youngsters dump stuff? Or is it too late for that?
I love the way Toyota names cars.
Scion means descendant or heir. Specifically in plant grafting, the scion is the plant selected for its stems, leaves, flowers, or fruits. Clever of them, I think.
Dude, I'm still waiting for that ride.
Ann, it'll probably be next week sometime. We're in Alex, LA, tonight, and we're bringing Adam home for the weekend. Toby saw a Nissan Altima parked next to us today, and he kept pointing at it and saying, "the car! the car!" He'll be relieved when he sees that we still have that car at home.
