My desk, unusually clean. Posted by Picasa

I would be intimidated by those very large stacks of paper if they were on MY desk. But I guess lawyers are used to it.

You need to get stuff on your walls! A high powered fella like you ought not to have bare walls.

I've got some very cool Spider-Man II posters at Hobby Lobby to be framed. Also, the boss is hiring someone to come hang our stuff for us, so as to avoid having too many holes put in the wall.

I don't have curtains on my office window (just a blind) and I'm thinking of hanging Mardi Gras beads from the empty cafe rod on the window. It's in my Feng Shui "Fame" ba gua; the appropriate colors are red, green and yellow. I have beads like that.

Somebody hanging stuff on your wall for you? Well, think of the opportunity cost if you did it yourself.

heh, funny ... what? lawyers are no good with a hammer and nails?

btw, did I miss the news that informed us that this was a new office?

On a serious note, do you actually do any work in that office?

I'm kind of glad we aren't hammering our own nails. I'm obsessive compulsive when I hang things, so there would be a million holes behind each object on the wall.

Voo, I have been getting work done in this office. I've got to do something about that, but I'm right off the reception area, so whatcha gonna do? Of course, I should give you a call and shoot the shit for an hour or two. That would cut into productivity a little.
