Supreme Court Campaign

Does anybody have any ideas how we can get Craig the Filosopher nominated to sit on the Supreme Court? The Senate Democrats gave the President a list of names today--a list including one of my employers--and I didn't see Craig's name on it. Anyhow, we need to start a Craig for Court campaign. I need some ideas, so please speak up.

Start a whisper campaign that Craig isn't really a lawyer and make it so it looks like he would be perfect for the ring wing nut crowd. They will have started to believe their hype (cuz they ain't too bright) that Gonzales is "too liberal" (I mean, really, WTF????), and flock to Craig's side instead. The Dems are GWB's lapdog, and will just roll over like good boys and girl. Voila! He's in!

My lack of posting should obviate much of the criticism!

(Tip of the hat to the old style guide there!)

Perhaps we can convince the Judiciary Committee that it is imperative to more throroughly incorporate Kantian norms and mathematical theories into the law. And I agree with Miranda that it's hilarious to see Alberto Gonzales derided as a liberal.

One thing that might be problematic is the inevitable request for Craig's "greenies" from his time here. We'll claim work product and confidentiality, then allege that the "greenie" request amounts to persecution by people who just don't want a white male southerner on the Supreme Court.

That, my friend, is why I kept production low, low, low!

Excellent strategy, and one that the vast majority of bloggers and other Internet junkies will understand perfectly well.
