I'm glad you turned out normal.Annhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07636304888031546405noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6468251.post-1155922546656430772006-08-18T12:35:00.000-05:002006-08-18T12:35:00.000-05:00My thoughts exactly.Keep up the good blogging.-Sea...My thoughts exactly.
Keep up the good blogging.
-Sean
__________________
www.SeanDietrich.com
"All my music is free."Sean Dietrichhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11800520785487737607noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6468251.post-1155829387419792622006-08-17T10:43:00.000-05:002006-08-17T10:43:00.000-05:00Thanks. Sterling McMurrin wrote an article back in 1979, arguing that the Church shifted from a parochial outlook to a more internationalist outlook after WW II, and that a degree of pluralism would be an inevitable result as the internationalist outlook took hold. I have that article right here, but just didn't cite to it.Randyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14225554333698783398noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6468251.post-1155828694096095872006-08-17T10:31:00.000-05:002006-08-17T10:31:00.000-05:00Counselor! A more pluralistic worldview is inevitable, and the retrograde folk Mormonism that many of us grew up with will be increasingly replaced by a slightly more plausible/ acceptable, but still problematic metanarrative that will continue to lag the epistemological "center of gravity" of most of the developed world. Mormons still have decades to go before they catch up to the Enlightenment, much less any postmodern and post-postmodern/integral insights gleaned since then.Adamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02646177616899324504noreply@blogger.com
